چکیده
Abstract Raksi , a fermented distilled alcoholic beverage, is an ethnic drink consumed in high altitude regions of Singalila Ridge the Himalayas and adjoining places Nepal, northern north eastern part India Tibetan plateau. Like jaanr tongba nigar chhyang other beverages, raksi considered as element ethnopharmacology with claims medicinal properties. An ethnobiological survey was done study area prior to collection identification samples. In this research, two samples ( khokim chimphing ) were investigated by metabolite profiling using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis. Results experiment showed presence several respiratory protective, cardioprotective, neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant components which have properties prevent various illnesses. Moreover, large quantities bioactive terpenoids, fatty acid derivatives, coumarins, peptides detected whose chemotaxonomy biosynthesis pathways further studied. This metabolomics investigation not only affirmed remedy for high-altitude sickness but also helped understanding importance type foods ethnoecology. research on fields ethnobiology cumulative approach has opened door in-depth investigations similar foods. However, experiments are surely needed ethnobiology, microbiology, biochemistry, food technology.
